Before SageCreek Jeff was the founder of SC Beach LLC a consulting company which delivered guidance to technology companies seeking revenue growth, establishing strategic alliances, and sales channel development. Clients include SystemsManagementOnDemand.com, InsideSales.com, LiveLoopTech.com. He was successful in doubling sales by creating new products, strategic partnerships, and new channels. Jeff also started two small startups; FoodArk, Inc., a corporation for emergency preparedness and assistance to food banks throughout North America and also launched BobbleU.com an ecommerce site targeting NCAA fans.
Prior to consulting Jeff was a leader and visionary at Altiris from March 2000 to August 2006, he served as VP of Alliance Strategy. Applying keen industry acumen Jeff started and grew high growth partnerships with HP, Intel and other industry leaders that proved to be a key driver in growing revenue from $3M to $250M also making Altiris a target for acquisition. He lead large sales opportunities with Fortune 500 companies closing several multimillion dollar deals. Jeff also championed two key acquisitions in new market segments which more than doubled company revenue and market cap.
Earlier in his career Jeff orchestrated a dramatic growth strategy at Vinca resulting in $8M growth in one year, capturing 26% of the NT clustering market and receiving an industry award for pioneering application failover. This proved to be a timely transition for Vinca moving out of a declining Novell market. Jeff’s articles where published in several industry tech publications and was a major driving factor for the sale of Vinca to Legato. He has held management positions at Legato and Novell since early 1990.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and graduated with Top Ten Honors from the Marshall School of Business Entrepreneur program. He is well versed in MindManager, WordPress, Business apps, CRMs and Web 2.0 solutions.
Outside of work Jeff is an ocean enthusiast and loves surfing, marine life, mountain biking, skiiing and keeping up with 4 active boys and his wife of 17 years, he is located in Orange County, CA.
